Hi everyone.
Allthough I'm not going to the archives any time soon, I'm still offering to help.

I have a HUGE tip for anyone looking for ancestors in Belgium (particularly in the Flemish speaking part):
This website: http://arch.arch.be provides scans of A LOT of original birth, marriage and death certificates. This is a recent development. The organisation of the national archives has just put them online this January.
All you need to do is register yourself (FREE), so you can log in and search all the scans.

I use this website a lot and I find it to be very helpfull. Normally you should be able to choose English as your language.
If you still encounter problems, questions, ... Don't hesitate to ask!
