A couple of follow-up clues on the Martin Stephan family in Milwaukee posted from the 1880 census: Martin buried a son Otto in 1882, Martin died in 1893 based on multiple death notices and an obit., and Mary possibly in 1929? A daughter Ida was buried in 1868. This additional info. comes from "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950).
