I have been searching for this name in Germany for many years, with no luck. Wilhelm Henry Dürre was born in 1840 in Alsace-Lorraine. He and his mother Dorthea Dürre and his wife Carolina Mielitz immigrated to New York, USA, July 1885. Their names appear on the the Hamburg Passenger list.
