am researching my Reeb ancestors. My grandfather's parents were Johann George Reeb and Anna Catherina Matter.
Anna Catherina Matter was born in 1779 in Zutzendorf Bas Rhin France and died Oct 1840. She married Johann Georg Reeb b 1781 died 1842 in Zutzendorf. They married in 1798.
Their oldest daughter Anna Catharina married a Michael Mehl and came to the US in 1841. Their youngest son was my great grandfather Michael Reeb b 1820.

Anna Catherina Matter Reeb's parents were Johann Matter and Anna Maria Stoltz. Anna had a brother named George who witness the birth of Michael in 1820. Michael came to the US around 1854.
