Anthony (or Antoine) Martin and his wife Barbara (or Barbe) Kraemer left Alsace with their 4 children in 1840. They are the g.g.g.grandparents on my wife who was Joyce Martin. I believe that both were born in 1806. Looking for any additional info on them. Brian J Smith states that the were living in Kaltenhouse and more info is on
"1836 Census of Bischwiller and Haguenau Cantons". Does anyone have acces to that who is willing to share the information?
