I am so glad to hear from you. I would be more than happy to exchange family genealogy. I had almost given up hope of finding any more information on my TANQUERAY family. Hopefully, we are related. This is the information I have so far.

1. Gilles TANQUERAY (don't have any other information on him or who he married)

Children of Gilles:

2. Pierre TANQUERAY born D'Agon De Countances, Manches, Normandy, France. Died in Saint Domingue before April 1732. Married Francoise LEGENDRE on 28 May 1696 in Parame.

Children of Pierre and Francoise:

3. Jeanne born 29 March 1697, St. Malo
Gilles born 4 August 1698, St. Malo
Guyonne born 1 November 1700, St. Malo
Pierre born 29 November 1702, St. Malo
Jean-Baptiste born 4 August 1704, St. Malo
Robert born 5 August 1708, St. Malo
Guillaume-Jean born 6 January 1715, St. Malo
Georges born 1706 in Saint Malo (my family line)

Georges left France and went to Quebec, Canada around 1731. He married Marguerite MORAND on 2 September 1737 in Quebec.

I have the rest of the line from here on. I know the name is sometimes listed as TANCREL, TANCREDE, TANCIEL.

I really want to find out information on them such as their occupations ( I believe many were captains and other positions on the sea), addresses where they lived, wife of Gilles and other children.
