I am trying to locate birth record for Georges TANQUERAY born around 1710 in St. Malo (Notre Dame) Ille et Vilane, France and the marriage record of his father, Pierre TANQUERAY, married 28 May 1696 in Parame to Francoise LEGENDRE.
Are these records available?
Am I right to assume they were Catholic if future generations in Quebec were Catholic?
