During the Great War my father had a French girlfriend. I have some of her letters she sent my father after he returned to the States. I also have a picture of her. But I only have her first name -- "Maddy" -- and an address -- 1 Place de la Barre, Bourges. My father told me her father was an industrialist -- they were rather wealthy I believe. She moved to Toulouse in 1920 or so and may have died there. Her letters to my father are very touching and I would love to find out more about her.
