Victoire BOULE m. Nicolas DAVAL 25 Aug 1812, Frotey, les Lure, France. These are my husbands' gggg-grandparents.

Victorie BOULE was born 4 Jan 1794 in Frotey. She died 30 Jan 1870, also in Frotey. Her husband, Nicolas DAVAL, also was born and died in Frotey. He was born 17 Nov 1782; died 10 Apr 1832.

This couple has one known child: Anne Josephine, born 16 Dec 1812 and died 14 Feb 1842. She married Nicolas RONDOT on 10 March 1835. They had one known child: Claude Francois RONDOT born 21 Nov 1835, and who died 2 Aug 1883, probably in France.

I am interested in the parents and siblings of Victorie BOULE and any info on her descendants. Also on the siblings and/or ancestors of Nicolas DAVAL.

Frotey les Lure is located in the Haute-Saone "department" of France, near the little village of Moffans. Most of the RONDOT family was from Moffans.

Nicolas RONDOT was the son of Claude RONDOT and Marie Francoise (--?--). I am also hoping to gain information on Nicolas, his siblings and ancestors. Need the surname for Marie Francoise; their marriage date, etc.

il ya des Rondot-Rondoz dans les villages de Athesans,Gouhenans,Val de Gouhenans et Vy les Lure.
Ces villages sont très prooche de Frotey les Lure et de Moffans.
Il y a un Daval ( surnom "dit le Bocqué " ) et des Epse Daval dans les communes de Servance et de Le haut Therme.Ces lieux sont dans les Vosges ( montagnes )de Haute Saone.

Mais hélas pas de trace sur le nom Boule.

I found on geneanet a couple Jean Claude Boulé - Jeanne Claude Daval, married in 1790 in Roye (close to Frotey). Jean Claude was born in Frotey lès Lure and Jeanne Claude was born in Roye.
Perhaps is this same family?

I know of the Indiana Rondot family. Although I am pretty sure my husband's family connects with his some generations back in France, I have not yet found the connection.

However, your Mother-in-law is most likely descended from that part of the family. The are descendants of a Claude Francois Rondot born in France (just not "my" Claude). There are a few researchers specializing in the family you are seeking. They post on the Rondot message board. (I post there, too. I am the board administrator). I suggest you go there and read the posts. Pay particular attention to posts by Carole Blakely. You won't be able to contact her. She died a couple of years ago. :-(

But, there is at least one other person seaching that line.
