Surnames: Jonte, Petithory
Yes, 'my' Jean (John) Petithory married Susan Jonte in Butler County. I had a grandfather, uncle and cousin named for Petithory. Petithory committed suicide -- possibly why I cannot find his grave. He left Susan with four young children. Susan Jonte Petithory re-married George Jeffras; had two further children with him and died in Indianapolis in 1875.
