VALOIS, BOIVAL, BOYVAL DE VALOIS
I. Francois BOIVAL ca. 1585-ca. 1630*. The basis for this possibility is from Joël Bigot, a genealogist in Le Deluge, a village very close to Corbeil-Cerf: “François BOIVAL était effectivement parrain de Jacqueline DESMAREST, fille de Pierre, née le 30/11/1617 à Corbeil-Cerf.†Thus a BOIVAL was in Corbeil-Cerf in 1617; and was a godfather to a DEMAREST. And Francois is a name repeated to this day. And a DESMARETS was godmother to Laurens BOIVAL in 1649 in the same village.
II. Laurens BOIVAL 1619-1649. A death entry in Corbeil-Cerf shows that he died 17 January 1649 and was then 30 years old. Carpenter.
III. Laurens BOIVAL 1649-ca. 1707.Born 26 April 1649 in Corbeil-Cerf. By 1666 “LB†was “known as VALLOYSâ€. During his acting career, he was known as Laurent BOYVAL, Sieur DE VALOIS, the latter moniker he adopted as a dit. Comedien.
IV. Francois BOYVAL DE VALOIS. Born “Dauphine†ca. 1670-1678-died after November 1742, then living in Valence en Dauphine. Comedien.
