I am so sorry that I have not written before this, but I have just revisited this site after a long absences, but to be truthful I forgot that I had posted on this site. So please accept my humble apologies. It is really good to hear from you. I am only related to the Declauzel's by marriage, my GGGrandmother Julia Abrahams first married John Gainer and had two children Ellen (my GGrandmother) and Charles. After John died Julia married Joseph Declauzel and they had three boys,Louis, Edward and Alphonse, as my GGrandmothers father had died whilst she was young she was brought up as a Declauzel. I am certainly willing to share what I have with you if you still want. Have you been in contact with Kathleen? She is a direct line with the Declauzel's. I am also in touch with Gary Declauzel who was Uncle Alf's grandson. If you have not I am sure they will both be delighted to hear that you are about. Kathleen has been to France a few times but has had no success in finding out any more of our Declauzel's.
