Miners in Pas de Calais - Fatout
I am trying to trae my uncle's family who apparently came to America from this area in the early 20th century. Apparently there were miners in that area and when they arrived in US, they also went to work in the mines, first in PA and later in IL, and IA. I've not been able to find them in the towns they had listed on their ship's manifest. Has anyone any info on this name/family from that area during the 19th century, or people with that name living there now?
