Jolin or Jolan in Nantes

I am trying to find out if my ancestors came from Nantes but i don't know where to start. I have traced my Jolin ancestry back to Jaques Jolin who arrived in St. Helier in Jersey about 1730. In looking at the Registre des personnes qui ont fait Abjuration a St. Helier 1717-1815 i found a reference to "Madme Henriette Jolan veuve de Mr. de la Blaudiniere der Bretagne Esresche de Nante agee denviron 56 ans le 22me jour de Juin 1726" and in the St. Helier burial records i found "Henriette, Dame de la Blaudiniere, refugiee" buried on the 26th of December 1728.

I think she must be related to Jaques somehow but i cant find the link between them - Should i start looking in Nantes?
