Thank you for the information. It was the information I was also able to find when you posted the link and why I thanked you for your posting. Prior to your posting the link the only census info I had on them was from a 1906 or 1907 census which I received when I was in St. Pierre. Just for interest sakes the Lina Rose mentioned in the 1892 census would have been about 14 years not 4 years and she was a niece of Elizabeth Pine Slaney who went to live with them after her own mother had died. So whe was brought up like a daughter. Note in 1897 her age is given as 21 years and she has a child. Yes, Joseph died sometime between the 1897 census and birth of Lina's second son Louis in February 1899 - this learned from his birth record.
