TRENTON -- Angela Foglia Colella, 80, passed away Sunday in the St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton.

Mrs. Colella was born in Avellino, Italy, and moved to Trenton in 1970 where she had resided ever since.

Mrs. Colella worked as a housekeeper in St. Francis Medical Center for several years in the 1970s and her children's business, Mario and Frank's for 25 years. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch with her neighbors.

Predeceased by her parents, Michele and Angela Corsetto Foglia, her sister, Lina Riccio and a daughter-in-law, Lynda Bak Colella, she is survived by her husband of 56 years, Igino Colella; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Frank and Rosanna Colella, Mario and Donna Colella, and Sam Colella; one daughter, Silvia Belardo; and a son-in-law, Peter Belardo. Also surviving are three sisters and four brothers-in-law, Palma and Sabino Ristaino, Dora and Riccardo Zoziel, Maria and Henry Savelli, and Rocco Riccio; brother and sister-in-law, Antonio and Angela Foglia; seven grandchildren, Angela Tavel and her husband Erik, Jon Belardo and his wife Jessica, Sabrina Belardo, Mark Colella and his wife Christine, Michael, Anthony, and Lauren Colella; a great-granddaughter, Julia Tavel; and several nieces and nephews both here and in Italy.

The Funeral will be held 8:15 a.m. Thursday at Chambers D'Errico and Correnti Funeral Home, 825 Chambers St., Trenton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of the Angels - St. Joachim's Church, 20-56 Butler St., Trenton.

Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A Christian wake service will be held during that time.
