I've been trying to piece this family together, very little data to work with. From the very little information posted by Cynthia Phillips I see a Frank, a Victor, and a James Pedulla. Looks like my Grandfather was a contemporary of Carmelo. Grandfather Frank died in 1929 so there aren't any extant stories from his perspective. I don't know what the issue was but these families seemed very closed mouthed about it all.
