Hi Gary!

When I have more time, today or tomorrow, I will email you with details of my family. My father's side (his name is Lawrence Salvucci, really Loreto but he uses Lawrence), are all Salvucci's, Roffo's and DiBona's from San Donato. I have some of the family tree mapped out but not as much as I would like.

I have your email from your message and I will email you with what I know of the family. I'm sure that your great-grandfather hailed from San Donato. Not to say that Salvucci's can't be from Rome but when I was in Italy years ago, and I mentioned to someone that my name was Salvucci, they immediately mentioned San Donato. So that is the "ancestral" home, I think, even though you do know about the Salvucci Towers in San Geminagno, don't you? Whether we are all descended from that family or not, I don't know but it's interesting to see them. I never have but my 20 year old cousin was over there this summer and took pictures of them for us .

I will email you very soon, Gary and please don't hesitate to email me if you have time. I look forward to being in touch with you!

Take care,
Sandie
