My maternal grandparents came from Gaeta, and their last name was Scinicariello and my Nonna's maiden name was Buonomo. I believe my Nonno had a brother who moved to the US but that would have been probably in the 40's. I did listen to a lot of stories when I was young, so maybe there is a connection here.
