The following were born in Malta 1820 to 1840: Patrick Nagel Telfer (birth date unknown), John Buchan Telfer (1831) and George Home Telfer 1838. Their parents are unknown.
Patrick Nagel Telfer ended up in British Army in Quebec City and dying at sea between Barbados and England in abt 1855. John Buchan Telfer was a naval Commander and also a writer in England.
This Telfer family is somehow related to the Telfer Smollett family in Dunbarton Scotland. But how it is not known.
