I am searching for information about the Van Dooren family that lived in Zeeland, North Brabant, Netherlands, by 1800, and probably before and at least until 1848 or after...Other villages this family had members come f rom is Berlicum and Reek...Jacobus van Dooren and Jacomina Kobussen were the parents of Martinus Van Dooren who came to the United States in 1848. Martinus was born Nov. 20, 1825 in Zeeland and died Jan. 10, 1916 in Leopold, Missouri, U.S.A...There is a Cornelius Dirk van Dooren who was Martinus' grandfather and a Maria Ermers Van Dooren who died Dec. 27, 1829 in Zeeland. maria Ermers was born in Reek and outlived her husband Cornelis
