Hendrina Müller-Vissers, 1834 - 1916

Michigan did not begin keeping civil records until 1867. Even then, many events were never reported or recorded; parents were not named on marriage certificates until several years later. We really are very fortunate to have the marriage register of A.C. van Raalte available to us thanks to Calvin College!

For anyone following this thread, below is a link to "Henrietta" Wilhelmina Vissers' death certificate. Her father is called William Mulder on the certificate (mother not named); her dob is given as 15 Mar 1832. Although the year is off by 2, the correct day-month is convincing along with her father's name and the use of the name Wilhelmina, as seen on her birth certificate. I really think there is no doubt that this is the daughter of (Franz Christian) Wilhelm Müller and Diliana Schröer.
