The 1900 census says Henrika Alida and hisband immigrated in 1877..........Nice to see Alberdina crossed the pond.......Nice find Marianne....Dean now has info from cradle to grave for his GG GF Ernst (arnoldus) and his siblings and parets....He will be busy incorprating info into his daya bases..
Alberdina did go to the USA!
I found their crossing:
Ship Castor, dep. Amsterdam, arr EI 16 Oct 1872
Hordenberg, Albertus, 5 yrs (Albertus, born 1874)
Hordenberg, Arend, 16 (Arnoldus Frederikus, 1866)
Hordenberg, Dina, 8 (Alberdina, 1872)
Hordenberg, Friederik, 4 (Frederik Arnoldus, 1876
Hordenberg, H, 54 (dad Hendrikus, 1830)
Hordenberg, T, 50 (mom Berendina, 1833)
Of course the ages are all wrong, but I only rarely saw an EI record where the ages were actually right!
That leaves the crossing of Hendrikus 1859 and Hendrika Alida, married to Leonardus Johannes Rientjes. And we all know they ended up in te USA as well
