Had a quick look around and the only thing I found was a record on the Australian National Archives regarding his arrival in Australia.

The problem with finding his birth certificate (with his parents on it) is that Dutch law does not allow birth certificates to be made publicly available for 100 years from the birth year so in your case, they won't be public till 2028.
