Hi ,

About when was Roelof J Bakker born?
I understand you or your mom don't know in which province either?
It's a very common name,
there is a Roelof Johannes Bakker born 1-9-1910,
I see him on the index Amsterdam , archive of personal cards, which are cards of deceased of people who doesnt have to be born in Amsterdam, but for sure have lived there , to see the card itself it cost something (not very much), but how great is the chance that this could be him?

There's also a Bakker, R.J. - 21-06-1910 born Amsterdam
also a R.J Bakker born 1927 ,
so it would help if you could be a little more specific about his birthyear (about when) .

Did he leave for America and if so ,about when?
do you know if he was born in west, east , north or south Netherlands if you don't know in which province he was born or lived?

Then, there's also the death of a Roelof Jan Bakker on 3 may 1960, in city Haren, province Groningen, he died at 79 yrs old and the record says he was unmarried.
Oh, but now I see that can't be him, because he was not only child, this one had brothers and sisters.

It's difficult without knowing a province or surrounding were he lived
Did he marrie your mother in Netherlands or was there no marriage? (otherwise the surname of your mother could help, if they lived here for a while)
