Paulus Clepole/Claypole/Claijpool was ordained as a minister and became the Dominee (Vicar) of the church in Cilaarshoek, Hoeksche Waard, from 1690 to his death in 1720.
Paulus married Johanna Stoops on 1 Feb 1693 at Cilaarshoek.
Paulus was married for a second time on 26 Oct 1698 to Cornelia van Deutecham (Deutecom), at the Grote Kerk, Den Haag. From this marriage he and his wife had three children - Johanna Elisabeth, b. 21 Sep 1700, Cilaarshoek; Elisabeth Cornelia, b. 19 Jan 1705, Cilaarshoek; Thomas Manasse, b. 3 August 1706, Cilaarshoek.
Paulus died 28 June 1720 at Cillaarshoek, Zuid Holland.
