Classification: Query
Surnames: van Heeswijk
I have posted a similar query in the Zuid-Holland board mistakenly.
Jan was kind enough to offer what assitance he could to my vague and fact-less question.
I am seeking information on this Family name. I am helping a good friend begin research on his Family, and at present he has given me very little information. I have been researching my own Roots for almost two months now, so i do truly understand the importance of names/dates/locations for successful research. I apologize for these intial Bare bones posts. I will add information as it comes to me.
However I DO know that the Family was living in Oss before they emigrated to Canada in 1957-1960??? Also the names Josephus and Jacobus may have significance to the genealogy, however there were 12 children and I do not know how well utilized any Traditional Dutch naming patterns was.
I guess it would be a great place to start if someone was able to let us know if they have any van Heeswijk, from Oss, in their tree. Possibly with a Jacobus or a Josephus as the Groom
Kind regard.

My friend is trying to gather more information in order to make this a little easier. In the meantime any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
