Albert (Lambertus) Hermans was born June 24th, 1819 in Holland and immigrated from the town of Boxmeer, to the United States with his wife Anne Barten and with four children in 1856 aboard the ship the "Chemboragd" landing in New York on May 3rd 1856. Anne Barten was born May 27th, 1823 in Hinthem, Holland. the children were Marie age 7, Johann age 5, Hendrika age 3 and Martin 11 months.
