Surnames: schmidt, boyce
John Schmidt was born 1798 in Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands.
His wife was born 1802 in PA.
They had 2 children:
Ann Catherine, born 1822 NJ; married William J. Boyce; died 1 Feb 1908 in New Orleans, Orleans, LA. Ann was not living at home in 1840.
Thomas, born 1823 NY. He was not living at home in 1840 but was back home in 1850.
The family lived in 3rd Ward, Orleans Parish, LA from 1840-50.
