I had a look through some German archives and these were the nearest matches I could find.

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/V4GD-DDSOn a side note, was Hendrik Huijer a soldier by chance? I keep finding records in my search in Dutch records for a Hendrik Huijer working for the V.O.C. in the 1730s/1740s. He appears to be from Emmen. While there is an Emmen in the Netherlands it is only 30kms away from Laar, Germany.
Also another came up for a place called Kockshaven/Cockshaave and is listed as being a Bosschieter
which was a job associated with cannons, blunderbusts or anything that needed gunpowder.
