Hi Joanne:
Would you please do a look-up for me? My gggrandparents arrived in US
1854-1856. According to stories-my g grandmother Adriantje came to
America when she was 5 & she was born 1850 in Amsterdam according to the
death certificate.
Her parents name: Willem (william) Messemaker (Messamaker?)
wife: Teuntji Children: Adriantje & Cornelis. They are on the 1860
census in Iowa...
I would like to know when they arrived & possibly name of ship so I
could start researching in the Netherlands. I have searched site
Genlias with no success. :-( I have sent messages to Netherlands, etc
with no response)....
Thank you & have a nice day.
p.s. You helped find my family Scheffers who came from Rotterdam June
12, 1857.... Thank you again.....
