Hello,
The line after Johannes' last name, "Loeffe" says: "Fusilier bij het eerste Battalion der vijfde afdeeling Nationale Militie" or, "fusilier with the first Battalion the fifth division National Militia".
The word fusilier was a French word meaning "musket". So, in other words, he was an infantry man equipped with a musket.
Dienstbaar means, in more certain terms, "available". So, Luke is correct when he states she is out of work but the intent is that she is available to work.
