The Marinus Amperse/Geertruid den Hond marriage was actually his second marriage. He first married Neeltje de Waard in 1837.
From another message board I have Marinus Amperse as deceased on 20th aug 1898 in Kalamazoo.
From his daughter Mary Elizabeth, whom I have as born in Black Rock New Tork on the 8th June 1850, I only have her marrying to Samuel David Lorrain in 1865.
I would be very happy if you could send me any further details you have from the Amperse/De Hond family and their descendants. I am working on a Amperse genealogy for some years now and especially the American dates and places are very hard to find, despite the fact that quite a few members of the family left for the US.
