Jo^es Gottfried (or Johannes Godefridus "Frederik") MACRANDER was born March 6, 1697 at Wetzlar am Lahn, Rhineland Province, Kingdom of Prussia. On July 28, 1737, he married Anna Alida SCHEERS, at s'Herenberg, Netherlands. He served as a Corporal in the Cavalry Regiment, Prince of Hessen-Philipsthal, commanded by Colonel Willem Lodewijk Prins van Hessen-Philipsthall in 1721, promoted to Luitenant-general in 1742, general in 1747. Overl. in 1761.
