In The Hague, I can only find one family Van de Watering in the 18th century. What I know about Johanna van de Watering is that she is married to Cornelis Hagendoorn, on June 4, 1775. Cornelis is baptized on May 30, 1746 in The Hague and he dies at the age of 35 years in The Hague, is buried on February 19, 1782 (class 6 guilders, has children). Does this mean Johanna has already died?
Re the family, I have found a possible brother Isaak van de Watering, married to Elisabeth Hagedoorn and son of Pieter van de Watering and Maria Lallemand, all in The Hague. See death certificate in The Hague on July 14, 1831: Isaac is deceased on July 11, 1831 at an age of 78 years, born in 1752. I found his baptism on August 9, 1752 (Church Registers Hague book 15, Grote of St. Jacobkerk 1748-1771).
Baptism of more children I found:
- Ari: Dec 3, 1745
- Ari: Feb 28, 1748
- Helena: March 8, 1750. Helena was married to Casper Nihot according to http://www.at16home.demon.nl/NIHOT.htm
- Arie: Feb 20, 1765
- Neeltje, on 26 Feb 1818 in The Hague deceased as indicated by the age of 61 years, probably born in 1757, no baptism found.
This leaves room for the birth of Johanna, but I can find no record of her baptism.
The parents of the children I found sofar, are married in 1746
Groom = Pieter van de Watering, from Berkel
Bride = Maria Lalleman, from The Hague
Place Berkel and Rodenrijs
And so the baptism of Pieter:
Place Berkel en Rodenrijs
Date baptism 07-03-1723
Father Michielszen Arie van de Watering
Mother Neeltje Pieters Buijteweg
Witness Lijsbeth Pieters Buijteweg
I would like to find out: when was Johanna van de Watering born/baptised and when did she die? Are Pieter and Maria her parents?
