Surnames: Moran Morande De moran.
I heard once a family thought they were pure Irish. And they found going back 600 years they started to be spanish. It must of been because of those ships refugees too. There is a name for the spanish irish but i dont know it off hand. It is in a book I was reading once. Ill have to find it again and write it on my computer. My gr grandmas maidn name is Maronde. And I think it has to do with that Moran name too. Some way. They were from Prussia born in 1868, She looks Portuguese. But also we look Native American or spanish or Italian people always think. So I wonder if we are from the Moorish people. I think the letters de mean of the so maybe they made there name de Moran Or well if you ever here Moran in Prussia let me know. Thanks! ck
