My grandfather's name is Frederick Herman Sabido and my grandmother is JEANETTE MARTEENA ORGANNIAA.

The name ORGANNIAA doesnt seem to exist - even any help with perhaps other ways of spelling etc. She is believed to be Italian. He is Belizean.

Any help with the surname would even get me so so far! Help!

I need help to locate info on my husband's great grandfather named Manuel Ruiz. He was born in 1726 in SPAIN. He went to Chihuahua, MEXICO and then settled in TX. An Aunt said he was married to "Sijieina"??? I know he had a daughter named Dominga who was also born in SPAIN. He also had Lazalo Ruiz (my husband's grandfather) who was born in MEXICO and died in 1958 or 1959 in Pico Rivera, CA. I found 2 listings for Manuel Ruiz in Family Search born in 1726: 1) Manuel Herrador Ruiz and 2) Manuel Bejar Ruiz. Update:
I have always heard that my name Ledesma came from Spain. I am sure it did since there is evidence that proves that. I suspsect that our ancestors started migrating to the US during the 1500's when Hernan Cortes and other Spanish explorers came here.

Since I started my searches, I have found that I am still a fouth generation Texan. My great-grandfather Daniel Ledesma was born in Karnes City, Texas in 1877. My great grandmother was born in San Angelo, Texas. Her father, Elario Mendoza was born around Presidio when it was still part of Mexico in 1840. He was around when Texas was annexed into the state of the union. SO, at this point, I am still not from Spain until I have found the links that say otherwise. I am still just a Mexican/American/Tejano.

I have traced my family tree in many different directions in various countries and have found that my great great grandfather's surname was KING and that he came from Spain. Is there anyone out there who would be of the King line in Spain. His first name was John and he married an Elizabeth Edwards who was from England I beleive. They had a daughter Harriette who went on to marry a Lambkin in Australia. I do know that there is a distinct possibility that they were Spanish gypsies as this has been told down through the family. Can anybody help me locate archival records for Cuevas del Almanzora and Garrucha in the late 1800's and earlier? My grandfather was Rafael Fas Campoy, and he was born and raised in Garrucha (birthdate December 25, 1893). My grandmother was Catalina Fas Otero (birthdate September 1895 est.). I'm not sure what her unmarried name was, but she was born and raised in Cuevas del Almanzora. My grandfather served in the Spanish navy from 1915 until 1918 but I do not have any documented evidence of his service. Sometime in 1919 they emigrated to the U.S. where they remained for the rest of their lives. Other than that, I have very little information.

Please contact me if you can be of any assistance in locating birth, marriage, baptismal, or any other pertinant documents that will help me trace my origins. Thanks in advance.

All I know is that some of this family, including Juan Marco, immigrated to Cuba where they set up a barber shop and pharmaceutical business. Juan Marco then immigrated to the US as a child and as an adult, made several trips back and forth between Cuba and the US to oversee family interests there. Juan Marco died at sea during one of these trips

I am told that there are still Garriga's in the town of La Garriga. The Garriga surname is not common so I would love to get in contact of any Garriga's still living in Spain to see if we are related.

I am trying to find information about Sofia Giralt y Giralt d Brutau. She was alive in Spain in 1937 but I don't know how old she was then. She was definitely an adult though.
I believe she was the cousin of my grandmother (Bernardina Teresa Josephine Giralt Garriga born in Alella, Spain 1888)?

And also any information about Tomas Giralt Garriga (born 1878 Alella, Spain), (died 1958 Alella, Spain).

I'd like to know how they are related and what descendants they had.

This may be a little tough because I only know one name. My grandfather's name was Manuel Francis Gonzales (spelling could be different). He was born in Mexico in around 1894. In 1905 he arrived in the U.S. This information was learned from a 1920 census. It also stated his parents were from Spain. This is my problem. I do not know his father or mother's name. I just know they were from Spain. If anyone can help I would very much appreciate it. Nita!

His first child was born in Huelva the following year.

How do I get Birth Certificates from Bilbao and Santander ?

I would like to trace my fathers side of the family but I don't know where to start. My nan, Amparo Echebarria was born in Bilbao ( as far as I know ) in 1898, she came to South Wales around the early 1920s and married my grandfather Florentino Alvarado in 1925, he was born in Santander around 1892 ( we think ). I have a copy of their Marriage Certificate from the local Registry Office and on it it names my nans father as Ebaristo Echebarria and my grandfathers father as Marcelino Alvarado ( deceased ) and that's all I know. It would be great if I could get copies of my grandparents birth certificates to find out who their mothers were and what their names were, that's if Spanish certificates are like UK ones, anything to start things off.

I'm trying to track back my husband's family. Here's what I know from this particularly line:

Somewhere in the early 1800s (or possibly late 1700s) in Spain, Jose Gonzales-Trelles and Josepha Rodriguez Trellas married and had (Dona) Josepha Gonzales y Trelles. Josepha married (Don) Pedro Martinez-Seneriz-Osorio, and in 1853 in Arbon, Province of Oviedo, Asturias, Spain had Dr. Cecilio Martinez-Seneriz-Osorio who was later a doctor, a lawyer and a military officer sent to Cuba by the king of Spain.

Juan married my great aunt Mamie Mc Grath in New York City on January 21, 1925. In searching for further information on Juan I found his World War I draft registration card of June 1917. He stated he was born in Paros, Spain April 18, 1893 and his mother and father lived there.
I am confused by where he states he was born. In trying to find Paros, Spain on a google map I am told it is in Greece.
Can someone please give me a clue as to where in Spain this place might be?

My ancestor went to Spain from Staffordshire, England(to work in some mine) then back to England in 1851/early 1852 -perhaps to Liverpool.
Is there a shipping passenger list that I could search through.
I have searched Google and come up with passenger lists from Spain to the US via Liverpool. That could be a possibility. My English ancestors went to Australia in 1852, departing from Liverpool.

My gggrandfather was born in Spain (that is all I know) in 1851. I also think a sister was born there and died in Spain - they were non-Catholic.

Is there someone who could shed some light on where I might start. This has been an ongoing search for 15 years!

I am looking for any information on some Carrions from Madrid, Spain. This is what I know:

My grandmother’s name was Vicenta Carrion. She was born on December 15, 1903 in Madrid and was baptized at La Virgen del Puerto church, also in Madrid. Her parents were Pedro Carrion (b Abt 1875 in Cordoba, Spain) and Rosario Juarez (b 1879 in Madrid). Pedro and Rosario were married at La Virgen del Puerto (date unknown).

Vicenta’s siblings were Elena (b 1900, Madrid), Pedro (b 1905, Madrid), and Rosario (b after 1905, Philadelphia or New York). Rosario (mother) and her three oldest children (Elena, Pedro, and Vicenta) immigrated to the U.S. on the Konigin Luise, which departed from the Port of Gibraltar, Spain, headed for the Port of New York, USA, on October 18, 1906.

In 1924, Vicenta married Gustave Beniamino in New York. Around the 1950s or 60s, they moved with their three children to Southern California.

Any information on any member of this family is most appreciated.
