Looking for information on Miguel Roca and josefa Balague, who were the parents of Matild Clemencia Francisca Roca, born 3 Janu 1877 in Martorell, Barcelona. Any information on the lineage is appreciated. I believe Miquel Roca is the son of Jose Roca and Barbara Ginebreda and that Josefa Balague is the daughter of Jose Balague and Eulalis Pasual. Looking for any information on Pedro Ballaura Sio, lived in Barcelona. Married Maria Blanche Parera. At least two children, Juan Francisco Jose Balldaura Blanche and Louis Francisco Pedro Balldaura Blanche were born to the couple in 1907 and 1903. I believe Pedro was the son of Juan Ballaura (Balldaura) and Margarida Sio. Any information on the couple, their ancestors, etc is greatly appreciated. I believe that Maria Blanche Parera is the daughter of Francisco Blanche and Antonia Parera.

La primera con Ursula Socias,de la cual tuvo un hijo Jose Traveria Socias,el cual se caso el 13 Junio de 1826 con Eularia Rosell Grau. El segundo matrimonio fue con Buenaventura Vidal Cendros,nacida el 20 Mayo 1786 en Villanova i la Geltru, con la cual tuvo que se sepa dos hijos Isidro y Antonia. Isidro Traveria Vidal emigro a Cuba en el 1830 y creo familia con Dolores Cintas Hernandez. Antonia Traveria Vidal se caso con Isidro Suan y tuvieron 4 hijos, Maria Josefa, Isidro, Rosa y Ventura.Isidro Suan Traveria murio el 04 Septiembre de 1893 en La Habana, Cuba.
Buenaventura Vidal Cendros estuvo casada anteriormente con Sadurni Casanovas Carreras y tuvieron 3 hijos: Bunaventura Rosa (1804), Jose Antonio (1805) y Rosa Francisca (1807).
Jose Traveria Serra murio en Villanova i la Geltru el 02 de Mayo de 1845. Buenaventura Vidal Cendros murio en Villanova i la Geltru en el 1845.

My dad immigrated here from Barcelona in 1920 or 1921. he was about 19 or 20. Lived in the midwest of the US, until he moved to Hawaii and met my Mom, Maria. He passed away when I was 10 so not much chance to discuss family.

It is difficult finding the Fas surname anywhere.

Thank you very much.I actually know her address,the thing is she said if I tried to contact her she would tell our father and I would get in trouble,thats why I thought I would try a different approach on trying to get a picture of her.See Nancy is punishing me for our father's behavior from many years ago.But if you know anyone who is friends with her,I would apprecaite it if you could getme a picture of her.I really miss and love her.Thanks again for the info I appreciate it.

Phillip Pou is my 6th great grandfather, and I live in Orangeburg, SC! I'll be glad to share what I have and the volumes of information that I've located at the SC Archives, in Columbia, SC. I haven't been to the Archives yet, BUT I've found copies of original docs at the Orangeburg County Historical Society that were acquired there.

I want to know more about my Italian and Spanish background. My mother's maiden name is Pou. The large notebooks where I found this info was in the Wolfe family archives; one of Gavin's daughter's married a Wolfe, and Gavin's son, Robert, married Ann Appolonia Wolfe. Ann Wolfe's mother was a Shuler. There are lots of Wolfe's and Shulers in Orangeburg County. Gavin's son, Phillip, was documented as killed in the Revolutionary War, as he never returned.

Francisco Negrervernis (later spelled Nigreville) arrived from Catalonia, Spain to Louisiana, United States in 1835.

He became a naturalized U.S. citizen November 19, 1840.

He was my 2nd great grandfather.

There are no Jose Baudillo Thomas's on Ancestry, there are a lot of Jose Thoas's though, so I would need accurate dates to do a thorough search.

I know it is not much. I know he left Spain and settled in Cebu, Philippines. I am trying to get ahold of some records there that may give me a lead to his town.

I am seeking any information about the marriage at Barcelona, Catalonia, in October 1894, of Mary Ellen FENN, who was born at Wolverhampton UK in 1866. She and her husband (name unknown) subsequently travelled to Cuba, where she died on 2 August 1895.

Does anyone have any information about this family?
I am trying to locate my Collazo family. I'm desperately looking for some help in locating my grandfather Juan Collazo BarPortla (born 1870) and his family. The family was force to flee Spain in one of their revolutions about 1880. Juan, his five brothers and sister were orphaned as a result of the fighting. Juan's father was a Spanish Consular diplomat posted in Portugal. The children were all sent to Puerto Rico as a safe heaven. My grandfather Juan was born in 1870 and was about five years old when they left Spain. Supposedly, they live in Cadaques and Barcelona Spain and sailed from Barcelona to PR. I have no records of who his siblings were and where they lived in PR. Juan I think live in Ponce, but some of the family lived in Utuado(?).I would greatly appreciate any information available from any of the Collazo descendance scattered all over the world.

Estoy tratando de Investigación Mi GGGrandfather que era de España. Su nombre era Francisco Bedal y él nació en 1842. Su padre fue Joseph Bedal y su madre era Mariella Gonzales. Francisco se establecieron y se casaron en Greenock, Escocia en 1869 a un Gorman María. en su certificado de matrimonio que las listas en 1869 su padre fallecido, pero su madre está viva. I am trying to Research My GGGrandfather who was from Spain. His name was Francisco Bedal and he was born in 1842. His Father was Joseph Bedal & his Mother was Mariella Gonzales. Francisco settled and married in Greenock, Scotland in 1869 to a Mary Gorman. on his marriage certificate he lists in 1869 his father as deceased, but his mother is alive. He must have had other family in Spain & we believe he came from Barcelona. His father was a merchant Seaman, as was Francisco. Thank you.

My grandfather Juan Collazo, was married to Mary Ramos, my grandmother. Juan's family was born in Borea de Collazos, a small village in the North of Spain. He was the youngest of several brothers, which migrated to Puerto Rico and became Business men. I traced him to a 1930 US Census.
He had a son, whose name was Edardo,who died in Hawaii had four daughters, Alice, Mary, Rose, and my mother, Ruth. The family lived in the Hawaiian Islands, And later lived in California. My grandmother, remarried after Juan died,and was burried as Mary Ramos in Hayward,Ca, in1942. All of Juan's immediate family are dead, as are my leads.

My research on this name.
Pecan in Ireland- Kilpeacon, Ireland
My family used the name Pecan until about 1910/20.Some retained the spelling in US as Peacon. My family also has ties to the north. Richard Head (Cabeza) b. in Spain apprx. 1835, he was married to a Grace Wiggins from Maine. Perham Plantation.When Maine became a state they deeded land and the plantation was resolved. We took ship and went south by way of Bahamas and resettled in FL. At this time, FL was Spanish territory until conceded during the Spanish/ American war at which time became a state. My Peacon family were shipping merchants, settling the state of FL and the Bahamas. The origination of the family was from Ireland. My Richard Heads fathers name was Jose Cabeza b. in Spain or aka Joseph Head.He lived in Maine. So as far as Pecan goes,,,I have many various spellings of the name in my research.
In 1838 trail of tears,,,,my family of FL were Indian friendly and participated in the movement. Having Spanish/Indian relations,,,I believe that the John Pecon of OK Dawes record is that of my family. I also noticed in many of the other genealogies of Pecan,,,that there seems to be no real ancestry history of time. I believe there is a link between the two. I also believe that it comes from possible 2 brothers. Thomas Peacon and my Matthew Peacon with their father being Thomas,,,from Ireland. email me and I will send you an invite to my current tree. been working on it since 05.

Thank you for the reply. The area north of Barcelona (Catalonia) is where I have found some people with the last name Funallet. My wife's great grandmother was a Funallet from Puerto Rico. The earliest documentation we could find was Isidro Funallet,from Mayaguez, Puerto Rico from the mid 1800's. We think it was his father who was from Spain.
