Looking for great-great grandfather Urs Hofer

Surnames: Hofer, Lanterry
I'm looking for historic links for Urs Hofer and Seraphine Ramu (g-g-grandparents. They had 3 daughters, Jenny Marie born 1849, Anna Amelie born 1853 and Elise Marie born Plainpalais 8 May 1856, and confirmed Grossaffoltern, Bern 1870. Elise had a daughter Jenny Maria (my grandmother) born in Paris in 1879. She was given citizen rights for Canton of Bern in 1890. In 1900 she married Paul Johnson in Portsmouth, England. I have photocopied documents confirming all of this but want to know where Urs and Seraphine came from. Believe they had cousin Peter Lanterry.
