I am looking for any information on Charles Nord & Christine Olson Nord Magnuson. Charles was born (I think) about 1859 in Sweden. He died abt. 20 Mar 1903 and was buried in the Oakwood Cemetary in Lake City, MN. Christine Olson was born 22 Apr 1859, also in Sweden. She died 17 Oct 1945, in Minneapolis, and was also buried in the Oakwood Cemetary in Lake City, MN. They were supposedly married in Sweden about 1885. They emigrated in 1889. Christine had a brother, Rev. N. O. Olson, who ministered in the Salem and Hartland Townships of Pierce County, WI. I believe that her served Swedish Methodist Parishes. She also had a sister named Caroline, who married a Bergstrom (sorry no first name). In 1915, Christine married Andrew Magnuson, from Salem Township, Pierce County, WI. Christines brother, sister, and parents (?) may have emigrated with her. Family rumor says that Charles Nord changed his last name from "Olson" to "Nord" because there were too many Olson's around the area, but I don't have that information in writing anywhere.
