Graveyard of "Sylvan Hall"
Inscriptions on stones in the graveyard of "sylvan Hall," home of Captain Joseph Philips who fought in North Carolina during the Revolution. The farm is located on the Dickerson Pike, six miles north of Nashville, Tenn. This is out of a book found at the LDS Family History Library, "TOMBSTONE INSCRIPTIONS AND HISTORICAL MANUSCRIPTS", author unknown.
