Hello Lee,
My relatives lived in Vilna, Lithuania which is not that far from Poland and sometimes was in it!
If your grandma is alive, does she remember any of her relatives that went to Vilna? Does your tree include any Abrahams or Alberts? My family is Jewish but I have learned to accept that a lot of Jews converted whether by force or marriage and some of my family may have branched off in that way.
