Centre College Alumni, Published 1890. 1856 graduate, Henderson Co.
Homer Hill. Son of Alfred G. and Mary (McCormick) Hill. Born August 15, 1834 in Scuffletown, KY. Prepared for college in New Albany, IN. Mr. Hill entered the Confederate service, regiment not known, but was with the Army of Virginia until the surrender of Gen. Lee. He died unmarried October 8, 1872, of chronic diarrhea, contracted during his military service.
