Surnames: Smith-Hall-Tollett-Schmidt
Lavanda Hall - Smith was my Grandmother, she married Franklin A. Smith who was from Fayette county Ill.They produce 10 children all have passed away. Franklin Smith was not related to the other Smiths from Fayette county Ill who came to Arkansas as his line ran back to the Schmidt family out of Ohio and Penn. The name was changed on the second generation here in America as the first was from Germany.
Dora married John Harlen they lived out their lives in Oklahoma and still have children there arround Wetomka.
They were the daughters of Thomas A. Hall who was the son of Joel A Hall and Ellen Jane (Tollett ) Hall. Joel was killed in the civil war at the Prairie Grove battle in 1862, Ellen Jane lived to be 96 years old passing in 1926 and is buried in Berkely Cementery at Cecil, AR.
