My Grandfather was born in Praia, Cape Verde. I'm looking for information on his parents Joseph Amado and Anna (de)Soto. My grandfather's death certificate has them being born in Portugal but I don't think that's correct. According to a family member we have family in the Province of Assomada in a community known as Gilbispo. Family names:Andrade,Tavares and Alvarenga. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
