Services for Lottie Vina Bailey, 91, Davis, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29 at the Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Chapman officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery with Fox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Born July 6, 1913 in LeFlore County near Poteau to John Ed Morris and Cora (Phillips) Morris, she died Monday, Dec. 27 in Sulphur.
She married Charlie Bailey at Davis on May 7, 1932. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1987. She moved to Davis at the age of 16 and returned back to the community in 1959 after having lived in several other areas. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Peggy Ann and Ted Lance, Cherry Grove, Ore. and Della Sue and John Pope, Sulphur; two sons, Bruce Bailey and wife, Bennie, Sulphur and Travis Wayne Bailey, Forrest Grove, Ore.; a brother and his wife, Lee and Loraine Parnell, Ft. Smith, Ark.; 30 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Wanda Newton; three sons, Dennis, Joe and Steven Bailey and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Meador, Kevin Atteberry, Randy Newton, Scottie Puttman, Josh Hodge, Justin Hodge and Chandler J. Buben.
