Hi. Saw your reply to someone else. Thought it might be possible the Abbey you are talking about is related to the Abbey I am trying to find out more about. He was Daniel Abbey, born in NY 1817. Married Elizabeth Presley of Ky. He was a physician, died during the Civil War. Daniel was my great great grand father. I can't find any NY records for him. Thanks so much. HC
