I am not sure if you're related, but my son somehow picked up a bunch of letters written to Mr. and Mrs. F.E. Abbey of Grand Rapids, MI, and Mildred & Grace Herman. They date back to the 1920s. There are also 2 diaries. I hate to get rid of them and if anybody thinks they're useful, please contact me.
