I have a fair amount of information concerning members of the Abbie family who came to Canada the 1880s. These included descendants of Cristina's brother James. I ahve also gathered information relating to the Gillies branch of the family.

Looking for family of Roda Elizabeth ABBIE (or spelling / phonetic variation) born Jan 1823 in Virginia of Virginia parents, died May 1903 in Dallas, TX.

1850 census in Tazewell County, Virginia, age 27. Married to John Henry LEWIS, two sons. Her ancestry may be part Holland-Dutch.

Would appreciate hearing from anyone who may have a matching person in their tree, or families of matching surname close to Tazewell County, Virginia in early 1800's.
