Olean Woman Dies of Injuries
An Olean woman injured Monday night in a two-car crash in the Town of Tonawanda died yesterday at Kenmore Mercy Hospital.
Mrs. Florence Abby, 61, of 222 Tompkins St., died at 4:20 a.m.. She suffered internal injuries and a fractured pelvis in the collision.
Town police said the accident occurred at Sheridan Drive and Colvin Boulevard. Mrs. Abby was a passenger in a car driven by Mrs. Betty J. Lawson of 32 Chapel Road, Town of Tonawanda.
The other motorist was Terrence M. Welsch, 21, of 85 Calvert Blvd., also Town of Tonawanda.
